It's the summer before senior year and the alluring Angel is ready to have fun. She's not like her best friend, Inggy, who has a steady boyfriend, good grades, and college plans. Angel, a promiscuous teen, is unsure about her future. Maybe not unsure, because that seems like she has a slight clue and is deciding between two things. Angel is literally clueless about what she wants, while her best friend Inggy is bound to get into a good school because of her ambition. To most readers, they could relate to Angel in that aspect, but I wasn't really able to since I'm one of the people that has nearly everything planned out in their life. I liked Inggy more in that aspect. The parts I did like about Angel: the way she holds herself. She wasn't afraid to be herself and she was confident and said what she wanted.

The sex in the book was a major part, honestly! Angel was a real girl who had needs, and wasn't afraid to find someone to fulfill them. She may have gone a little far in some parts but this made the novel even more real. 

This novel didn't have the exact spark I was looking for, but it wasn't terrible either! After reading this, I felt satisfied. I knew what I was going to read when I picked up the book. In some aspects it surprised me and at other times it let me down a bit. Overall, this was definitely a summer read - there's no doubt about that! It's not one of the books that sucks you in - it takes a little while to adapt to the book. Once you finish, I'm sure you'll be satisfied with it!
